Xerox print drivers

Hi all,

Have a question about installing print drivers, we are currently on OES11 SP2 and are beginning our 'beta' roll-out of Windows 10 for selected power users. One of the biggest problems we are running into is how to install iPrint printers, we have the latest ipp client installed however according to Xerox many class drivers are only available through the operating system. These drivers were previously available for download and install for windows 7, but nothing is available to download for windows 10. How am I supposed to allow users to print to an iPrint printer if the driver for the operating system isn't available to upload to iPrint?

Is there an option to use installed operating system drivers in iPrint that I'm missing, or other?

Yes you should be able to upload the driver from the system. For example, if I have the Xerox driver or any driver installed on my Windows 10 PC, then I can run IE from that PC (iPrint client needs to be installed), open iManager and manage the driver store and you should see an option to upload drivers from the system under the Drivers tab, called Add From System. Click on that button and select the driver you wish to upload.
