banners
This is a repost. I got busy and couldn't reply to this one quickly
enough, to it got burried. Anyway, here are the original posts and my
reply.
iPrint appears to work fine, except for random users get banner pages. I
have deleted all of the banner pages from the Broker, but it still
happens
some times. Any ideas?
iprintrox replied,
Some banners can be provided by the drivers. Is it random, or does it
seem
to be isolated to a few select users??
It seems random because I am in the implementation phase of the project.
but it is certain users. Mainly myself, and my boss. It dosen't matter
what printer, or on what Manager we use. We always get the banner.
Thanks

I think its a setting related to the netware client, but have never
discovered which.
My solution is to force banners to be off.
Use nwadmin - double click the printer - click the configuration tab -
then highlight 'printer default configuration' and click modify, then
in the general settings tab make
sure banner is set to none.
(I have found the setting in iManager is ignored unless first set in
nwadmin)
Hope that helps.
