gateway autoconfig string corrupting

I am running iprint in a 2 node cluster on OES2/Linux. today I have found a
bunch of people getting odd iprint errors, and when I look at their printer, I
find the autoload command for the print agent has been 'changed' or corrupted.

The command should look something like this:
iprintgw PORT=LPR HOSTADDRESS=xx.xx.xx.xx PRINTERNAME=PASSTHROUGH

but instead looks like this:
ipri PORT=LPR HOSTADDRESS=xx.xx.xx.xx PRINTERNAME=PASSTHROUGH

What could be truncating just the name of the gateway executable, and nothing
else? This is happening on a bunch of printers, but not every one. I don't find
any info in eDir that looks like this load string.

Any ideas where to start looking?
