hp 4 / 4si drivers and xp problems

Having difficulty getting xp pro to print to HP Laserjet 4 and 4si
printers. Will not even print a test page correctly. Netware 6.5 sp1.
Laserjet internal jet directs have latest firmware, IP only. Had
attempted using drivers from HP as well as uploading the xp drivers into
the Broker. Will print when I setup a port on the local workstation,
however I have multiple machines I need to roll out. Need this working
through ndps / iprint. I can print through ndps / iprint with xp to my
ricoh printers. However fails with the HP Laserjet 4 and 4si. Looks like
a driver issue, but not sure what else to try. Anyone else seen this
