iPrint Access Control

Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up iPrint on OES Netware 6.5.
I'd like to restrict access such that only certain users can print to
certain printers.
Am I right in thinking that unless "Enable secure printing..." is checked
within the Client Support tab, anyone can add the printer and print to it
- irrespective of who the defined users are in the Access Control list?

Yes, you are right.

Thanks for the confirmation guys.
Seems to work from XP clients with the printer installing as it should.
When trying to install a secure printer using a MAC client - the printer
installs following user authentication and then the Safari browser crashes
when "OK" is clicked on the "Printer is now Installed" message box.
Is there any reason for this?

Thanks in advance,

Alas, MAC is not my speciality.
The only suggestion I have in that case is to try the latest iPrint client
for MAC:

Thanks for the info guys.
Looks like the latest available iPrint MAC client supports OS 10.0-10.3 -
but most of our clients are more recent than that.

I think the information is an incorrect. In the documentation at
http://www.novell.com/documentation/oes/iprint_nw/data/boeyh9p.html#bsch0g9
it claims support of Mac OS 10.2 or later support.

I will ask Novell for clarification.

Novell told me that the client should work on 10.4
