iPrint Appliance 2 Error Message

Hi

I've been getting email error messages from my iPrint 2 appliance (without the 2.0.0.530 HP, as I had problems installing it).

Subject: Cron <root@iprint-app> /usr/bin/python /opt/novell/iprintmobile/python/
migrate/migrateusers.pyc
X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh>
X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/lib/news/bin>
X-Cron-Env: <MAILTO=root>
X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/root>
X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=root>
X-Cron-Env: <USER=root>
Date: Mon, 2 May 2016 14:40:02 +1000 (AEST)

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/var/lib/jenkins/jobs/iprint-VA-2.0.0/workspace/iprint/scripts/migrate/t
arget/build/migrateusers.py", line 112, in <module>
KeyError: 'businessCategory'

Possibly related: I've noticed that new users in my edirectory tree aren't getting imported into the iPrint tree. The initial import worked fine.

Thanks
Robert

Re: iPrint Appliance 2 Error Message

We found this issue will occur if any accounts/groups have been manually created.
This can be resolved by removing any user/groups missing the businessCategory attribute. These can be found with using an ldapsearch such as (replace BASEDN)

ldapsearch -H ldap://127.0.0.1 -x -W -D cn=admin,o=iPrintAppliance -b o=BASEDN '(!(businessCategory=*))' dn
