The TID could use one clarification...is the ZIP to be uploaded as is?
Or are we supposed to extract the contents and upload them?

Hi Ken
By the download file
https://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=vyia3XUJqvk~
Resolution Steps:
Download the FTF
Install the FTF using the Management console
Login to management console (https://<address>:9443) -> Field
patch -> Browse for FTF -> Install
Follow the steps to apply the patch
So you just upload the zip file as it used to be with the old appliance.
If this is not clear, let me know and i'll contact the tid author to
clarify it

Actually the TID was fine, but the instructions with the download are
a bit vague in my opinion. Maybe it is just me overthinking the
process, but someone might not know if the FTF you are supposed to
browse to is the zip file or something within the zip file. But then
again maybe I have too much on my mind at the moment. 🙂 Regardless,
thanks for the clarification.
