iPrint Appliance newer print Mail with iPad
Hallo,
I update today my iPrint Appliance to Version iPrint-2.1.0.68.HP.zip 2016-09-28, with hope that after that
User can print mail with his iPad 2 Air, but mail as a pdf file newer come out on Printer!
Any Idea how can I solve this Problem?
iPad steps to print Mail:
1. In Mail, view a message.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Select Print.
4. In the Printer Options screen, you’ll see a preview. You can either pinch and expand it or poke it (the harder 3D Touch). A PDF preview window opens.
5. Tap the Share button at the bottom of that window.
6. Choose any Share option an select Micro Focus iPrint
7. Chose Printer and Print!
Thanks
Amila

and then, after point 7 what happen? any error, any message, anything?
Do you see the print job hitting the appliance? any errors on
iprintmobile0.log?
As you're talking about a pdf file, there is a fix on patch 1 for
appliance 2.1 that solves this particular problem so first step will be
to apply the patch to put appliance at hp.69 version.
Also, if you're be printing pdf file, it is recommend you configure an
external (windows) renderer.

We still use rendere included with iPrintAppliance
I will try now to install external (windows) rendere
and let you know if it works.
Thanks

well if you see your job there, it means iprint has processed it
properly and handle to the papercut so now it is papercut job to process it
Look at the papecut logs to see why it is not processing the job but i
bet it has to do with the format name of the sender.
Verify how papercut is configured to handle names, FDN or CN. If CN you
may use the USERNAME_CN switch to pass cn name to papercut
