iPrint Migration Error
I'm trying to migrate iprint from NW 6.5 sp8 to OES2 sp2a, both with the
latest updates and using miggui for the migration. In the iPrint migration
logs I'm getting the error:
2010-06-18 11:00:55,008 FATAL - IPRINT:/opt/novell/bin/iprintmig:Fatal(13):
Unable to get source XML data from server
2010-06-18 11:00:55,063 INFO - IPRINT:/opt/novell/bin/iprintmig:
2010-06-18 11:00:55,064 ERROR - IPRINT:iprintmig:iprintmig command failed!
I've verified ldap is working correctly and user authentication is also
working. The migration tool renamed all the current printer objects putting
an NW at the end of the printer object in ConsoleOne. However, right after
that is when this error appears and stops. I've tried searching through the
internet and this newsgroup, but have not found anything concrete. Anyone
run into this and found out how to resolve it?

Sounds like there is a problem either executing the utility psminfo.nlm on the source server or copying the psminfo.xml file from the source server.
This could mean that the user you use to connect to the source server has unsufficient rights, a wrong password or login restrictions (like limiting the number of concurrent logins) that prevent the migration tool from executing the ncpshell command.
I suggest you check the sys:ndps directory on the NetWare server to see if the psminfo.xml file has been generated. You can also use the following TID to manually copy the psminfo.xml file and avoid the migration tool having to connect to the source server for this:
Execute iPrint Migration without communicating with the source Print Manager
