iPrint OES11 to 1.1 Appliance

I've migrated all the printers from our current OES11 SP2 iPrint server to the appliance a few weeks ago, but wasn't ready to switch to it yet. I'm trying finish the migration before Monday (spring break here). The OES server is still taking all the iPrint traffic. Here's what's under print manager identification:

DS name: PrintMngr.iPrint.lmisd
Version: 3.0.2
Database path: /var/opt/novell/iprint/PrintMngr.iPrint.lmisd.psm
Driver Store: PrintDrivers.iPrint.lmisd
Network address: DNS: pslmisd.lmisd.net
IP: 168.X.X.X

"DS name" and "Driver Store" are pointing to the new appliance, while "Network address" is the current production OES11 iPrint server.

Do I use the miggui and "transfer ID" to finish? I'm unclear how to finalize the migration from here. Yes, DNS entries have been made for the appliance.

Thank you.

What I did was to migrate all the printers from OES to the appliance ( http://www.novell.com/documentation/iprint-appliance1/iprint_appliance/data/b13k5oy0.html#b15nrce9 ), then enabled PA redirect and redirected all the printers from the OES server to the new iPrint appliance ( https://www.novell.com/documentation/oes11/iprint_lx/data/akexxjc.html#b6kizcp ).

It didn't go as smooth as I hoped it would but with the help on ZENworks Printer policys we minimized manually reinstalling some of the printers that failed to successfully redirect.

I would recommend test installing all the printers you migrated to the appliance to see that they install, printer profiles for some models (mainly Canon) failed to get migrated even if the migration wizard finished without errors.

Printer agent redirect was on my brain. I'll do that, but test install printers as you suggest. I'll also need to update some Zenworks printer policies; I found the TID for that already.

Thanks!
