iPrint Versioning Issue

Started to apply version 1.06 of the iPrint client from
using the silent install method from the recent coolsolutions site.
installation goes smoothly and all works well. Except for another

Right click on the NIPP.EXE that I just downloaded (version 1.06)
Tab > Product & File Versions seads 1.05.000. When creating the
for the silent install, it shows the version value of 1.05. In
fact, the
registry shows the old value at HKLM\software\novell\novell iprint
client\1.05.000. All of these values are identical to the 1.05
client! The
only differences are file size and date of the NIPP.EXE file.

After installing and rebooting, Start Menu > Programs > Novell iPrint

About Novell iPrint Client reads a value of 1.06. If all other
read 1.05, where is this 1.06 value coming from?

Please straighten this out, it's quite confusing!

Dave Kearns - help! 🙂
