iPrint client URL configuration

I am looking for a method to have all of our iPrint client installs automatically configured with the local server's path enabling them to "Find and Install" printers.  I have attempted to have the URL placed in the client via iManager but that has not worked.  I am currently running iPrint Appliance 4 (fully patched). The client versions are 6.18 (PC) and 6.13 (Mac).

Thanks in advance for any advice or support.  I am trying to avoid having to interact with each device and provide the URL manually.

Re: iPrint client URL configuration

Thank you!  I learned something new today while looking into this.

I don't have any MACs, so I cannot answer to them, although I assume they will be doing something similar.  For your PC, you can just push the following to the registry.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell-iPrint]
"Tray Icon Link"="https://your_url_to_printers"

Tray Icon Link is type REG_SZ

Re: iPrint client URL configuration

Thank you, @ketter, for the quick response and registry hack!  I will give that a try through ZENworks.
