iPrint in Windows 7

How can I install iPrint in windows 7?

I have tried to install the latest iPrint but I get this error-message:

Microsoft Hotfixes (KB941542 and KB932206) must be installed before you can install the iPrint client.

What should I do?
Is it even possible to install it in windows 7?

I got the same thing as well. Do you have a Vista machine laying
around? My theory that I haven't had time to test is that if you create
the same registry keys in Windows 7 that exist in Vista in regards to
those two hotfixes that the iPrint client will now install. If Vista
does it like XP, the regkey showing that the hotfix is installed should
be somewhere under:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates

Re: iPrint in Windows 7

I have also had this problem, and unfortunately I don't have a Vista machine to check for the registry keys (we are still using XP).

If can get these registry keys, please post them!

Re: iPrint in Windows 7

We have done some work on the client to get it to load, install and print on Windows 7, but the code is not yet ready for a public release. If you would like to try what we have, please send me an email (ttronson@novell.com) and I will send it to you.

Re: iPrint in Windows 7

We've gotten the Vista iPrint client to install using Computability mode - Windows XP-SP2. It works beautiful so far this way.

Good thought. BTW, a native client for Win 7 is available and Ted had
posted a thread on this. If needed, please look that up and get in
touch with him.

Re: iPrint in Windows 7

I am trying to install iprint on Windows 7 also and am not able to. I tried to get ahold of Ted for the code, but he never responded. Does anyone have a way of installing this on 7 yet?

It's included in the OES2 SP2 Public beta released last week. As for
support on OES2SP1, it's under being worked on - we'll keep you posted.

Re: iPrint in Windows 7

I was looking at the new iprint.js and noticed that the windows 7 installer references all point to vista installers instead of Windows 7. Is that how it is suppposed to be? I alos installed the 2.7.3 FTF and the Windows 7 tab for drivers does not appear. I'm using IE8.

We have fixed that since and it'll be updated. But at this point Vista
and Win7, share the client, so the impact is none.
