iPrint problems in iManager after Support Pack installation

Hi,

we are running NSBS on NetWare 6.5. Just recently we applied SP5 for NetWare
6.5 and then iManager did not work anymore.

We ran PKDiag and TCKeygen and restarted the server.

No iManager is running, BUT When using the iPrint module to manage an iPrint
object, I get the following
error message:

"Could not login forcom.novell.service.ndps.eMFrameStartup.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com/novell/service/session/util/DefaultProperties"

Any ideas where we could start fixint this?

Thanks

The fact that iManager itself does not run (at least that is what I
understand you are saying) means that iPrint will be unable to be
managed... What do you mean by ".. using the iPrint module to
manage" ??

Sounds like an iManager foopa. Have you tried manageing with mobile
iManager?? Does it work??

Do you really mean "No" or is this a typo and you mean "Now"?
Based on the context of your message, I assume a typo and I assume your
iManager *is* running.
One common reason for emframe errors with the iPrint plugins is if you run
iManager on a server without iPrint installed. Is you iManager running on
the same server as your iPrint or is this a different server? If this is a
different server, do you have iPrint installed ont he server?

Re: iPrint problems in iManager after Support Pack installation

Thanks for your answers, and sorry for the typo. It should read: NOW
iManager is running.

iManager is running on the same server as iPrint.

what is mobile iManager?

Re: iPrint problems in iManager after Support Pack installation

I see, but I do not understand.

I usually access iManager from a workstation through a browser, either IE or
Firefox.

So what's the difference for the mobile iManager?

Mobile iManager is the complete iManager running ont he workstation. That
means you don't need to have it installed ont he server at all. Tomcat and
all the iManager plugins will be directly running on your workstation.
