iprint/SSL/Login/NetWare 6 sp4

I am new to iprint and I am starting to set it up for the first time. I
want it to authenicate user who do not have the novell client on their
machine. I click the enable iprint checkbox and require ssl checkbox and I
even tried setting the security on high on the NDPS and I get no prompt to
login when I print. I can freely print with being asked for a username and
password. I also tried shutting down the ndps print agent and starting it
back up after I made these changes. Is this a bug or am I doing something
wrong.

Thanks,

Brian

Re: iprint/SSL/Login/NetWare 6 sp4

In theory, enabling SSL should also force authentication. However you
must restart your pritner for the configuration change to be active.
Also, if you change the printer from unsecure to SSL, you must
reinstall it on the workstation.

Re: iprint/SSL/Login/NetWare 6 sp4

Do you mean restart the NDPS queue or Power off and on the printer? I
restarted the ndps queue already doing a shutdown and startup.

Thanks,

Brian

Re: iprint/SSL/Login/NetWare 6 sp4

I'm really puzzled by this one.
Maybe you should try to restart your server and see if that helps.
