iprint and oes 2 nightmare

I have been trying to get iprint one oes2 working now since it was
officially released. I finally stumbled my way past my first problem where I
couldnt create a driver store because the firewall was blocking something
(would have been nice if the error stated something to that effect).

Now when I go to create the print manager I get the following error:

com.novell.admin.common.exceptions.UniqueSPIException: (Error -613) An
attribute value being added to an object might be incorrect or the value is
pointing to an object that does not exist in the tree.

Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this or what log to look in to
get more information about exactly what attribute or object its talking
about?

Thanks

613 means the attribute being written to, has a syntax definition, that
the value provided does not match. I.e Trying to write a string or int
to a DN syntax field.

Do you have access to NoRM on the OES2 server (not clear if you are on
Linux or Netware). Regardless, NoRM if NDPSM is running gets an option
added for NDPSM Manager health.

Keep looking for Advanced buttons and walk around and look at the errors
you see there.

Re: iprint and oes 2 nightmare

I get the same error on OES2SP2 (linux) when trying to create a print manager.

NRM doesn't seem to have any iPrint tabs..

Any thoughts??

Thanks
