iprint.ini with nipp416.exe

Hello,

in the file \\server\apache2\htdocs\ippdocs\iprint.ini
i changed the following line:
"AllowAutoUpdate = 2 ",
because i want that users can't cancel the automatic
installation of nipp416.exe.

But when the users login at their wks (W2K-SP4),
the installation dialog of nipp416.exe is shown, where the users
can press "cancel" or "ok".
What can i do, that users can't make a choice?

(our environment: NW65-SP5, NIPP416.exe)

Thanks,
Bernard

Re: iprint.ini with nipp416.exe

I'm pushing the NIPP updates out with a ZEN iPrint policy.

The users don't even see the install happening - ZEN is a beautiful thing!

Bernard, there is nipp-s.exe ( s for silent ), when you rename it to
nipp.exe your users will see anything.

Re: iprint.ini with nipp416.exe

David,

thanks for your hint. It works, but i will
use the iPrint-Policy, because the users don't see
any installation dialog.

Bernhard
