new printer manager

Hello all,

I have an issue with moving iPrint/NDPS printers to another server. I have
a Netware 6.0 server currently hosting NDPS and iPrint. There is a new
Netware 6.5 server in production that we would like to move our NDPS
printers to. Now, I read the knowledgebase article that explained how to
move existing NDPS brokers and managers to a new server, however the NDPS,
eDirectory versions must be the same.

So, what I am doing is deleting the printer objects, and recreating them
with the same name, same IP address, and assigning them to our new NDPS
manager. Unfortunately, the desktops can no longer communicate with the
printer. I have to delete it and redeploy the printer. So, is there any
way around this, or is everything functioning normally?
