possibly a bug???

Hi NG,
a customer of me tells me about a suspicious effect on his iPrint
environment on a OES Linux and OES Netware.

The following discribes the situation:
The same client sends a Print Job to
a) the OES Netware with the following in the sniffer:
"requesting-user-name...admin2.context.."
iPrint OES Netware will send the following to the Printer ( LPD )in a
sniffer tool:
....P username.context
working fine

b) the OES Linux with the following in sniffer:
"requesting-user-name..admin2.context.."
iPrint OES Netware will send the following in a sniffer tool:
..P Job Owner ( not the Jobowner, only the Words 'Job Owner').

They need the iPrint on OES Linux for Hylafax and to send email they must
use the field behind the 'P'. But with 'Job Owner' they cannot send back the
email.

Any help will be appreciate. Or is it a bug?

You are correct, this is a bug. The Job Owner and Job name are hard-wired;
apparently development code that failed to be removed before release.

Please send your valid email address to iprint@novell.com and we will get a
fix to you. This will be more timely than waiting for the next patch release.
