windows2003

Hi,

I've installed the nipp client (3.11) on Windows 2003 server. But on the
printers i added with iprint it will not save the printer settings... For
example our paper format is A4. When i change the tray config to A4 and save
it. I exit the printer properties and go back in, it is again Letter instead
of A4.

So is Windows 2003 server having issues? On windows 2000/NT4 servers this
does work with the same printers....

This might fix you. Install the iPrint printers as USER printers, instead
of the default of WORKSTATION printers. I suggest this because settings
like this are usually stored in the registry. By installing the iPrint
printer as a USER printer, you are working with a different hive of the
registry, the USER hive.

Re: windows2003

Hi,

That means I have to change the print server settings we have about 100
printers rolled out as workstation printers on the the desktop pc's of
users. I can not change this setting for 1 server... Is there a way to
install tjem as user printers on that server without changing a thing on the
other pc's?
