Knowledge Document: How to recover forgotten password for the Support Portal

Environment

Support Portal (portal.microfocus.com)
Software Licenses and Downloads (sld.microfocus.com)
 

Situation

Forgot the password to log into the Support Portal or Software, Licenses and Downloads (SLD) Portal.
 

Resolution

Go to Forgot Password to change the password.

Enter the username (if username has been forgotten as well go to Forgot Username) and click Continue. On the next page enter the reset code sent via email, enter the new password and then re-enter it.

The reset code is sent from MFI-Webmaster@opentext.com. If the code was not received, check to make sure it did not go to the Spam or Junk Folder and that email from MFI-Webmaster@opentext.com is not blocked.

If all has been checked, contact Customer Support to get assistance with resetting the password using one of the following methods:
